How much are day-old chicks in Ghana right now?

As of 18 October 2026, our starting prices are GH₵ 20 per chick for Ross 308 and Cobb 500 broilers, GH₵ 23–25.50 for imported layers (Hy-Line Brown, Hy-Line White, Bovans Brown), GH₵ 11–13 for Sasso, Kuroiler and Noiler, GH₵ 7 for Plymouth Rock and GH₵ 3 for white cockerels. Your exact price is confirmed in writing for your breed, quantity and hatch date before you pay.

What is the minimum order?

One box of 50 day-old chicks. Turkey poults come in boxes of 10.

Do you deliver day-old chicks outside Kasoa and Accra?

Yes. We send chicks to all 16 regions of Ghana in ventilated boxes, the same day they hatch. Delivery cost depends on your town and is confirmed before you pay. You can also collect at the farm in Opeikuma, Kasoa.

Are the chicks vaccinated?

Yes. Chicks are vaccinated at the hatchery against Marek's disease, Newcastle disease, Gumboro, infectious bronchitis and coccidiosis. We tell you exactly what your batch received so your vet can plan the boosters.

Do you import day-old chicks?

Yes. Besides hatching in our own incubators in Kasoa, we import day-old broilers, layers and turkey poults from European hatcheries. Imported chicks travel with veterinary health certification from the country of origin and must be booked in advance.

What happens if chicks arrive dead?

Chicks that arrive dead are replaced free in the next hatch. Count your chicks on arrival and send us a photo on WhatsApp the same day.
