Delivery questions
Do you deliver day-old chicks outside Kasoa and Accra?
Yes. We send chicks to all 16 regions of Ghana in ventilated boxes, the same day they hatch. Delivery cost depends on your town and is confirmed before you pay. You can also collect at the farm in Opeikuma, Kasoa.
What happens if chicks arrive dead?
Chicks that arrive dead are replaced free in the next hatch. Count your chicks on arrival and send us a photo on WhatsApp the same day.
How long can day-old chicks travel?
Healthy day-old chicks can travel for up to about 48 hours without feed or water because they are still living on the absorbed yolk. We dispatch the day they hatch so most of that time is spent on the road to you, not waiting.
What should I do when the chicks arrive?
Have the brooder warm (32–34 °C at chick level) before they arrive, give clean water with glucose or vitamins first, then starter feed. Count the chicks and photograph any dead on arrival for replacement.
